BATH & DRY

Please note: Dog's with heavily moulting or double coats requiring extensive de-shedding will incur an additional de-shedding charge due to the extra and work involved.

MAINTENANCE GROOM

Exclusively available to our regular grooming clients!

Keep your dog looking neat, clean and comfortable between full grooms.

This service includes:

A warm bath using premium shampoo and conditioner suited to your dog's coat.
A thorough blow dry.
A full brush through.
A tidy trim around the eyes, sanitary area and paws.
Nail trimming.
Ear cleaning.

A maintenance groom is perfect for helping to keep your dog's coat manageable and preventing it from becoming overgrown between full grooming appointments.

This service is especially beneficial for high-maintenance breeds such as Poodles, Shih Tzus, Bichon Frise, Maltese, Havanese, Labradoodles, Cockapoos, and other long or continuously growing breeds.

Please note: Maintenance grooms are only available to dogs on a regular grooming schedule at Woof Love Dog Grooming. This ensures your dog's coat remains in good condition and suitable for an in-between tidy-up.

FULL GROOM

Our full groom is a complete head-to-tail pampering session, leaving your dog looking, feeling and smelling their very best.

This service includes:

A warm bath using premium shampoo and conditioner suited to your dog's coat.
A thorough blow dry.
A full brush through and coat preparation.
Clipping and hand scissor styling to either the breed standard or your preferred style.
Nail trimming.
Ear cleaning.
Ear plucking where appropriate and suitable for the breed.

ULTRASOUND TEETH CLEANING

PUPPY INTRO'S

When is the best time to introduce your puppy to grooming?

The sooner your puppy becomes familiar with grooming, the better! You can start at home by gently brushing them with a soft puppy brush and rewarding them with plenty of praises and tasty treats to make it a positive experience.

Once your puppy has had their second vaccinations and your vet has advised they can go out (usually 2-3 weeks afterwards), they're ready to begin their puppy introduction sessions at the salon.

Our Puppy Introduction sessions include:

A warm bath and gently blow dry.
Brush through.
A light tidy around the eyes, paws and hygiene area.
Nail trim.
Lots of cuddles, praise and a little playtime.

These sessions are designed to help your puppy gain confidence, build trust with their groomer, and become familiar with the sights, sounds and sensations of the grooming salon, helping to set them up for a lifetime of stress-free grooming.

HANDSTRIPPING

Your dog's coat is thoroughly brushed using specialist rakes and slicker brushes to prepare it for handstripping. Depending on the breed, the handstripping process typically takes 2-4 hours.

The coat is carefully handstripped using professional stripping knives, stripping stones, chalk or finger cots to remove the dead coat while preserving the correct texture and colour.

For pet dogs, I carefully clip the hygiene areas and underline using clippers and trimmers. For show dogs, these areas are also handstripped to maintain the correct coat texture and appearance in line with The Kennel Club breed standard.

Once the handstrip is complete, your dog is bathed using Safe4 Shampoo, an antibacterial and antifungal shampoo that is gentle on the skin and ideal for maintaining handstripped coats. After drying, the coat is finished with a spritz of Soothing Antiseptic Spray. This 100% natural spray helps tighten the pores following handstripping while providing antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral protection, leaving the skin soothed and refreshed.

EAR PLUCKING/CLEANING

Ear plucking and cleaning are included with all full grooms where required. However, this is also available as a standalone service for all dog owners, whether you are a regular client or visiting Woof Love Dog Grooming for the first time.

This service is £10 per dog and is available by appointment only. Please get in touch to book.

NAIL TRIMMING

Nail trimming is included with all full grooms, maintenance grooms, bath & dry appointments, and puppy intro sessions. It is also available as a standalone service for all dog owners, whether you are a regular client or not.

Nail trimming is from £10, dependant on size and behaviour of dog, and is available by appointment, some days we can accept walk-ins dependant on our workload, please contact us beforehand to check or to arrange an appointment.
